PROJECT DESCRIPTION: An off-grid solar system for a project carried out through CIBNOR i by the University of Totori. The objective of the project was using aquaponia plants to purify water contaminated with arsenic. Swiss chard is used to evapotranspire the water, resulting in remineralized, arsenic-free water. The energy required for the process is provided by solar panels.
Phases and Voltage: Split Phase, 120-240V.
Inverter: 2 Schneider Inverters of 7 kW.
Generator: Evans 30 kW.
Installed Solar Capacity: 31.2 kW.
Storage Capacity (Battery): 150 kWh
